Something New to Greet You!

Hey everyone!  Happy Monday!  Did y'all watch the Oscars last night?  We thought it was one of the most enjoyable and entertaining presentations that we've ever seen -- gotta a kick out of the "Jaws" music playing when someone was getting a bit long-winded!  It was also a first for us in that we had actually seen quite a few of the movies that were presented and now we know which ones will be on our Red Box rental list!  Well, enough of that;  I have a little show 'n tell reveal for y'all today, so let's get started.

One of our newest DIY projects, and one of my very favorites is this transformation that we've been planning for awhile.  It all takes place right at the front entry.

More Freaky Weather!

Hey everyone!  It seems that all parts of the country are getting some unusual weather of late, and Arizona is not to be left out.  We had a torrential downpour this morning, and while The Man was out running an errand, he snapped this photo with his iPhone......

These are the Superstition Mountains just 20 miles northeast of us.  Very rare for them to have snow, at 

least down so low.  The Man said there was even snow in the rain hitting the car windshield

when he was out and about.  Three days ago, I was wearing capris and a short sleeve top; today

I'm dressed like "Nanook of the North!"  What "freaky" weather are you having?

My Early Spring Mantel

Hey everyone!  Woohoo, yes it's me -- I'm back "up and running" on all multi-media and social network systems!  Wow, I've missed y'all so much and look forward to catching up.  I have lots to share, so let's get started.

I suppose now that Valentine's Day is over, all thoughts in blogland have turned to Easter and Spring.  Well, I've been dying to share my Winter mantel with y'all, but at this point-in-time, I'm calling it my early Spring mantel...lol!  It took me quite awhile to decide what I wanted to do with the mantel after all the Christmas mesh, glitter and bright colors were packed away, and this is what I came up with.  Hope you enjoy!
