It's a Scam!

Hey, everyone.  Hope ya'll had a great Thanksgiving & a fun "Black Friday."  It seems that someone did not have a good day and decided to hack into my email & try pulling a scam.  Several of you have gotten emails from my email address, begging for funds because I was supposedly stranded in a foreign country.  Rest assured I am in good 'ole Arizona, not lost, stranded or anything else.  It truly amazes me the great lengths people will go to try to dupe their fellow man.  Maybe we should just all pray for these people.

  1. I got one of those today, but honestly didn't even pay attention to who sent it. I get enough to know they aren't real. Other than this mess, I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I barely knew it was Black Friday since there is no amount of money that would make me get out in THAT!

  3. Hi Cas,
You are so right, if people only put that much energy into doing something nice for someone, what a great world it would be............

Your Fall decorations were so pretty and so was your lovely Thanksgiving table. I am like you, don't like things too tall on the table cause it impedes conversation, altho it does look pretty!! but conversation first...

Looks like you had a great day.
So glad........ours was very good too!

    blessings, Nellie

  4. I knew it was Cas, I have received those type of emails before. Sad thing is some people do not know they are scams and actually send the money to these crooks.

  5. I got one of those emails, too. I thought someone had hacked their way into my email. I didn't open it and reported it as spam. I can't even tell you what I think should be done to people who do those kinds of things-not publishable! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

  6. I got one of the emails too, and opened it because I recognized the name. Even though I knew better. Then relegated it to the Spam folder.
    Some people.
Hope your computer is safe and secure!

  8. I have been out of town, but knew the instant I read it that it was a scam! I have to admit I was relieved to know that you were ok, safe and sound in Arizona. Hope your Thanksgiving was great!

P.S. I would have wired you money had they actually had you held hostage over there for not paying your hotel bill, as was implied in the e-mail, LOL :)
