Just a Peek!

Bootleggers Modern American Smokehouse: Pulled Pork Sandwich
Hey everyone!  Hope y'all had a wonderful weekend.  It was a glorious weekend here with beautiful weather in the 80's and fun-activities with our family.  Friday night, we met up with our son, dil,  Little Miss & Littlest Miss to try out a restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale called Bootleggers Modern American Smokehouse.  I had their Pulled Pork Sandwich which was delicious.  The service
was great, and the company was even better!

iPhones & iPads make for great entertainment for little ones waiting "patiently" for food!

Also got to see these beauties on Saturday night at a gymnastic meet -- this is an older photo, because these meets are too chaotic to take pics at.  There are always three events going on at the same time, so I am better off just watching rather than trying to take pictures.  Taylor (on the right) is our gymnast & got two 2nd place medals and one 3rd.  Riley (on left) was busy working as a "score keeper's assistant."

I mentioned last week that we are working on a DIY project, but it is not finished yet.  It is our master closet, which is huge but was being very much under-utilized;  so The Man has been working his "magic!"  Thought I'd give you just a sneaky peek, because it is going to be so pretty!

There is quite a bit more to The Man's plan, and it's all custom which takes time.  Cannot wait to share the finished redo!

Abby has been busy in my craft room this week, too!  She has to make sure this spot is reserved -- you know, like no other kitties are allowed......lol!

Hope y'all have a great week!  I'm sending sunny, warm thoughts from AZ to all of you who are still having chilly weather.  Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Hi Carol! I'm catching up with your posts. I lost track of you when I recently moved all my blogs to Bloglovin. GFC doesn't work for me anymore, I can't access my blog list or follow new blogs. I've been looking for all my blogs on Bloglovin and it took forever to find them all. I should have just used your button! I didn't even think to look for it on your blog. Anyway, glad I found you again. Your closet is amazing! I can't wait to see what you do with it.
