Some "Falling" Inspiration!

Hey everyone!  I'm starting to see lots of Fall decor pop up around Blogland, and I'm almost ready to start sharing some of mine.  Because we've been wrapping up another project, the Fall decorating has taken much longer, so today I thought I'd share some glimpses of last year.  Ready, set, GO FALL!

I'm sooo.....ready for Fall, even though we have at least another month and half before it actually begins to cool down.  Some of you may think I'm crazy (including The Man), but Fall is my all-time favorite season!  I love the colors, the smells and pumpkins of all different sizes, shapes & color.  All of these things just make me HAPPY!  How about you?  Have you started yet?

  1. Carol, I can feel your excitement about the upcoming season all the way across the pond! Pumpkins, cozy blankets, jewel toned leaves, warm fires and hot chocolate, sure are some tempting things about autumn, and I, too, look forward to it, after all it was my favourite season, up until last year, when suddenly, spring took first place! I think it has to do with me getting older, and spring being the beginning of so much prettiness, promising flowers, swims in the sea, and garden goodies, and thus, the perfect prelude to summer.

Enjoy your lovely home, and thanks for sharing your enthusiasm - it's quite contagious!

  8. I walked into Leslie's Pool Supply today to purchase a part for my pool. They put a Kirkland's right next door and it opened about 2 weeks ago or so! They had the front door open and the smell just pulled me right in! I LOVE the smell of fall at a home decor store! I can't wait for the weather to cool a bit so I can start getting my fall decor out! Also, looking forward to meeting you in person in just a couple weeks :) Happy!

  9. Carol, I just love the way you decorate your home for Fall every year. It is always so pretty and inviting. I am at a complete loss this year. :) Have no idea what I will do for Fall. I just put together a post also on past years, with the hope it will inspire some people and maybe myself. LOL Thank you for the inspiration!

  12. Carol...I saw your comment on another blog and I realized I hadn't been by in a long time. I really apologize! Summer is so busy but I think I'm getting back into the swing of things!

I love what you did last fall, especially your front porch. I'm always looking for ideas for mine. I have been picking and choosing new things here and there but I wouldn't think of doing anything "fall like" until mid September at the earliest. I just love summer too much!

I hope you have been having a good one!
