A Casual Fall Tablescape

Hey everyone!  Took a bit of a break last week from posting and joining parties.  Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with all the parties and the wonderful things to see, so I felt like being more of an observer & commenter rather than a participant.  But now I'm ready to join in again.  One day when I had the house to myself, I decided to set up our breakfast table with a casual Fall tablescape.

I love our little round oak table, and it is where we eat most of our meals.  I think it looks especially cozy and inviting all dressed for Fall.

I have several of these bright and colorful table runners from IKEA, and especially like this turquoise and orange combo.

I think the layers are so pretty -- wicker chargers are from Pier 1 several years ago, the metal chargers were a Walmart purchase a few years back, along with.......

The colorful salad plates and the cute pumpkin bowls.  I added a few votives just for
a bit of ambiance.

The dinner plates are from my FiestaWare collection.

I found these pretty plaid napkins at HomeGoods a couple of weeks ago, along with another set that I'll show you another time.  We always use cloth napkins, so I have quite a large collection.  The Man would say I have a bit of fetish when it comes to these cloth squares!

The stemware is from Princess House.  I was the "Queen of PH Party Hostesses" many years ago and
and earned some very nice pieces with hostess points.

The pumpkin bowl and salad plate are from the BHG's collection that Walmart carried a few
years ago.  I haven't seen anything like them since.

The base of the centerpiece is a little wire pumpkin shape that came with all the Fall elements already attached (again, several years ago at Walmart).  I've had this cute little bright red rooster (I think it was from Kirklands) for several years.  I just added a bit of hot glue to the wire stem on the pumpkin, and Mr. Roo sits there until I simply pop him off.

One last little look......just makes me smile!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and please know you are always welcome here!

  2. Your Fall table looks gorgeous and perfect! Love the roos in the middle. The chargers are awesome and that turquoise with orange is fabulous together! I know, so many parties and so many decorations for Fall. I just sid to someone I don't have so much Fall stuff, as there aren't much here, so I just stick to pumpkins and tablescaping, which is my fav, as love dishes...period!

  3. This is so pretty...very festive! I love all of the layering, I have to try using two runners. I love the napkins, too. I had lots of Fiestaware at one time and gave it to my niece when she moved into her first apartment. It was so easy to replace broken pieces having all those color choices.

    Enjoy your cooler weather!

  12. A very pretty combination of patterns and colours and textures to celebrate the season! The plaid napkins, fiesta ware, and all the richly hued crockery is representative of fall, and the turquoise reminds me of the autumn skies! Lovely!
