My "Creative" Oasis in the Desert--Craft Room Diaries

Hey, everyone!  Well, this crazy pandemic has certainly taught me a few things, how about you? One thing for sure, I won't ever take T.P. for granted again!  The main thing I've learned, is that I miss blogging!  Who would have thought?  I do okay with IG, but it's just not as fulfilling as blogging to me.  And because my "shelter-in-place" has meant spending almost the entire time in my craft room, I decided to do a bit of revamping of my blog.  The main reason I had stopped blogging was that I was weary of posting the same things over and over again...even with a few tweaks here and there, it was still the same stuff.  Sooo...I decided to make the blog more about my passions of sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, card making, and other needle crafts.  Oh, and also organizing all the goodies that go along with the above-mentioned passions!  If you have followed me before, I have written several posts about my craft room, so my hope and plan is to share not just the room but all the things that take place in this little space.  I have no idea how often I will write a post (I'm a bit out of practice), but I truly hope to share some fun and creative ideas with those who are interested in this sort of thing.  This kind of blog won't be for everyone, and I'm truly okay with that.  But for those who do enjoy crafting and sewing, I hope you will find some creative outlets and ideas here!

This is as close as I can get to an "overview" of my room, but I think it's important for you to know this room is little...about 10'x11'!  As I begin to share posts and various work stations, I hope you will realize you don't have to have a huge space to be creative and have fun!  Okay, this is what I'm leaving you with as my first post of the newly revamped blog.  I hope you will check in often, follow me by email, or Blogger, and let's have some fun together!

  1. So happy to hear from you! Your new blog focus sounds exciting. There are some craft things I no long do but still enjoy hearing about the creative process. Speaking of creative, I just saw a blurb on the web about select Hobby Lobby stores reopening.
