It's Monday Again!

Once again, Monday is here and I am wondering what happened to the weekend.  I spent a great deal of my weekend house-hunting on the Internet.  It's kind of fun, but also stressful.  There are so many Short Sales & those can be very tricky because you are dealing with a BANK.  There are also a lot of Foreclosures, and so many of these houses have been literally trashed by the owner before they are forced out.  I feel badly for the families who must leave their homes & sympathize with how they must feel betrayed & hurt.  But, destroying the house isn't going to really make them feel any better & it could come back to bite them in the "you-know-what" if the BANK decides to charge them with the repair bills.  If you haven't been looking at homes for sale lately, you would be very surprised at what you see.  We've only looked at a few in person so far, and saw ripped out faucets/fixtures, light fixtures pulled from ceilings, electrical wires just cut off, just to name a few.  On the bright side, however, there are so many for sale that we know we'll find one that has been cared for by the owner, like ours has.  So, on with the hunt we go.

I am, once again, participating in Java's  Meet Me on Monday.  Ya'll are really getting a double or triple doze of me since I just did a long questionnaire yesterday as my post.  TMI as the teens say!

Questions:

1.  What is your favorite way to eat potatoes?
2.  What was the last package that was delivered to your house?
3.  What is your favorite scent that you love to smell?
4.  Do you smoke?
5.  Are your parents married or divorced?
---------------------------------------------------------------
My Answers!

1.  Baked with just a little butter & salt/pepper
2.  Vitamins, how boring is that.  But the one before that was my copy
of Ree Drummond's book "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels"--yay on
     that delivery.

3.  Bread baking -- regular yeast-type (my grandmother taught me
     how when I was young).

4.  Never!!!
5.  My parents are both deceased, but were married for 60+ years.

Now that you know some more about me, I hope you will participate in this blog party & give everyone a bit more info about yourself.  I've made some truly nice connections just in this past week since I participated last Monday for the first time.  Anyhoo....thanks for stopping by and please come again soon.  I promise to do something that will have photos involved, 'cause I know ya'll love to look at things!

  6. I enjoyed reading more about you. Good luck with the house hunt! I know how stressful that is. There is an app from Apple that show you on Google Earth where foreclosures are. Do you have it?

  7. Hi Cas! Thanks for you kind comments on my post today! I really appreciate hearing from you. I like this post with the questions. That's fun and quite informative. I would love the smell of baking bread too! So wonderful but not nearly as good as taking a warm slice fresh from the oven! YUM! :))

  10. I didn't realize that Ree had a new book out but a friend of mine posted on FB earlier this week that she'd just started it. I'll definitely be looking that one up. :)
