A Questionnaire & Probably More than You Wanted to Know!

I am just a bit behind in responding to this, but I hope Jo @ Lazy on Lob Lolly will forgive me.  These really can be fun, so here goes.

Thursday Thoughts ...

Tag Your It.
Here are my answers:

1. If you have pets, do you see them as merely animals, or are they members of your family?
Abby doesn't know she's a cat, & we don't treat as one.  She's our "fuzzy" kid, plain & simple.

2. If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be?
It would have to be that we sell our house quickly & make our move closer to our big & little kiddoes.

3. What is the one thing most hated by you?
Phoniness in any way, shape or form.

4. What would you do with a billion dollars?
I'd have to give most of it away, because The Man & I wouldn't want to live the kind of lifestyle that amount of money would entail.

5. What helps to pull you out of a bad mood?
I'm very rarely in a bad mood, but just thinking about my hubby & our family would get me back on track.

6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
Loving someone for sure.  It's like giving gifts feels so much better than receiving them.

7. What is your bedtime routine?
I do a quick tidy-up of our home, wash my face (never go to bed w/o doing this), brush my teeth, & put handcream on my hands & feet.  That's all you need to know!

8. If you are currently in a relationship, how did you meet your partner?
We met while we were both in college.  It was totally by chance at a party off campus.  We really liked each other right away.

9. If you could watch a creative person in the act of the creative process, who would it be?
It would have to be Dale Chihuly, who is a well-known "freeblown & sculptured glass work" artist.  His things are incredibly beautiful.

10. What kinds of books do you read?
I most enjoy "mind candy" by authors such as J.A. Jance, Marie Bostwick, Diana Gabaldon (loved "The Outlander" series), Janet Evanovich, Dan Brown, & I could go on & on.  I also try to read something of Eckhart Tolle's once in awhile to keep me on track with life.

11. How would you see yourself in ten years time?
Very old, married to a very old The Man, mother to middle-age kids & Nanna to a bunch of teens & tweens.  Oh my!

12. What's your fear?

The unknown & what I have no control over.  That is why I have to read Eckhart Tolle!

13. Would you give up all junk food for the rest of your life for the opportunity to visit          outer space?
I wouldn't give up anything for that.  I'll just let the space cadets handle it.

14. Would you rather be single and rich or married, but poor.
Married & poor.

15. What's the first thing you do when you wake up?
Grab a cup of coffee, my daily planner & my laptop & get all snuggly in my comfy chair in the sunroom with Abby sharing my lap with the laptop.

16. If you could change one thing about your spouse/partner what would it be?
This has worked for almost 42 years, so I wouldn't change a thing.

17. If you could pick a new name for yourself, what would it be?
It would be Cassie, just a cuter version of my initials that I use here in blogland (CAS).

18. Would you forgive and forget no matter how horrible a thing that special someone has done?
I'll have to get back to you on this one.  There is currently a situation that I struggle with every day.

19. If you could only eat one thing for the next 6 months, what would it be?
Anything lemony, except lemon drops (I don't like those).

Okay, because I'm a bit OCD, I had to add #20 to make things even.

20. If you could change anything about blogging or blogland, what would it be?
I would add "Blog Smell" as a Gadget for all the great cooks out there!

Now I'm suppose to choose 6 bloggers to pass this on to, but that's too difficult.  Sooo....if you want to participate in this questionnaire, please do.  Just copy, paste to a new post, erase my answers & insert your own.  Go ahead, give it a try!
