Happy Easter!
Is Easter celebrated in your religion or faith? For many, it is a celebration of Christ rising and ascending to heaven after being crucified on the cross for all of our earthly sins.
For many people, it is the unofficial beginning of Spring with warmer temperatures, beautiful flowers popping out of the earth, and green grass to toss a blanket on for a picnic.
For others, Easter is a combination of religious traditions, Spring-time, frolicking bunnies, dying eggs and giving our homes a clean refresh with lighter decor and maybe a personal refresh for our mind, body and soul.
However you celebrate Easter, I hope it is a wonderful day filled with many happy memories!
Warm hugs,
Carol
Thanks Carol! I hope you had a wonderful day, too. :)
ReplyDeleteWe celebrate the Resurrection on Easter....usually after church, we have a meal with family...yesterday it was just Honey Bear, me, Daughter and Granddaughter but we enjoyed it. I did decorate a bit and we have some Easter Candy which neither of us need but we eat it anyway...

I hope your Easter was perfect! I still do Easter baskets for my boys who are 17 and 22! The only thing that's changed is now they want Amazon and Starbucks gift cards instead of toys. Lol! Oh, by the way, I just tried to reply to your comment on one of my posts and you showed up as "no reply blogger" so I couldn't send it. Just thought I'd let you know. :) Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI adore all of your Easter/Spring themed decor Carol. May you enjoy a beautiful spring and a wonderful week!
