Hey everyone! Happy Sunday, and I hope everyone has been having a perfect weekend! Today I thought I would do just a little wrap-up of a few tweaks and the addition of a bit of Halloween decor around my home. As I've said before, I'm not into the really creepy spiders, webs & skulls, so my additions are very tame; but I hope you enjoy them anyway. I have quite a few pics (truly surprised, aren't you?), so I will try to keep the chit-chat to a minimum. Wish me luck on that....lol!
"Spooky" -- not so much!
This "Old Hag" is about twenty years old, & her skin looks like she has spent way too much
time in the Arizona sun!
I pulled this lamp from my desk, switched out the shade, & added some Fall leaves -- I just
love lamps in the kitchen.
I just love the stem on this cute little pumpkin!
This is right across the hallway from The Mancave.
One day we will find the perfect wall sconces to replace the ugly ones here in the hallway.
Had everything I needed to whip this together in about 15 minutes!
These little shelves are the perfect spot for some old photos of The Man's family. He is
the cute little guy right in the middle.
Had to add a few things to the guest bathroom -- do you do that?
Don't you just love turquoise and orange together? I sure do!
Your tea towel is waiting!
This is one of my favorite little tealite holders -- he just makes me smile!
I simply took some small orange pumpkins & painted them turquoise and added glitter.
The perfect spot for working on a puzzle.
This little guy actually says "Happy Halloween" and then giggles -- he is so cute and has been
around for quite a few years. If you could hear him, you would smile!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful "Halloween" week!

ReplyDeleteHi Carol, I love your turquoise pumpkins, and they look great in that black sconce! I just realized I was a no-reply blogger and fixed it--yikes! Have a great week. Dee :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, I don't care for all the scary stuff. Everything looks great! I finally got my wreaths up this week!

ReplyDeleteLove your Halloween goodies, Carol, especially the "Old Hag!" (She really need to make better use of sunscreen!) Ha!
ReplyDeleteLove that your Halloween decors are wholesome Carol! Even your witch looks more like a Forest Fairy than anything, agree with you though on that sun exposure! hahaha! Love it!
ReplyDeleteYour fall touches look so festive and pretty. I am very much like you, I don't do spooky very well at all much to the dismay of my girls
ReplyDeleteLol, I love the "old hag" as you call her. Other than her, everything else is just beautifu, as always!! Happy halloween!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm not a big Halloween fan but I do like some of your decory stuff! I think I really love your little orange pumpkin/teddy guy :)
ReplyDeleteHi Carol! Are those little wooden cats on the shelf next to the apothecary jars with the "boo" letters? So cute! And might that be one of your homemade teddy bears too? Love the decorations!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!!
ReplyDeleteAWW, I love all your Halloween decor, Carol. I know what you mean about the stucco walls, my in-laws in Fl. lived in a community that had the same thing and it makes it so nice and private. Here we are WIDE OPEN and it is hard for us to get used to, since we lived in the woods for 29 years and had almost total privacy. BUT, we have WONDERFUL neighbors and LOVE living here. Come on over and see how I decorated with pumpkins too, if you'd like to that is:):) Have a great week! Pinky http://designsbypinky.blogspot.com/2013/10/decorating-with-pumpkins-for-fall-house.html
ReplyDeleteGreat Halloween touches, love the "Old Hag" even with her suntan. Cute little orange bear too.
ReplyDeleteOh I love it. Your seasonal decor is always so fun, chic and interesting. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your decor over at Twirl & Take a Bow! We hope to see you again this week!
