First, I decided I wanted to make little treat bags. Lucky for me, I already had these cute cello bags with hearts on them. Next I looked through my seasonal cardstock & my tools.
I used my scalloped circle punch for the patterned paper. Then I decided what I wanted to say, which was "Teddy Bear Hugs & Sweet Kisses for You!". I printed a bunch of these onto white cardstock & just punched them out with my circle punch. I also punched a bunch of blank circles from the leftover white cardstock.
I glued my saying on one side of the printed scalloped disk & a plain one to the back. The plain circle will be for my personal message. I embellished with some heart gems that I already had, & punched a small hole at the top for some narrow red ribbon.
I'm filling the bags with these, Hershey Kisses & Teddy Grahams. See, Teddy Bear Hugs & Sweet Kisses. Am I clever or what? LOL
Then I just tied the little labels on with the red ribbon to close the top of the bag. Easy-peasy, as they say here in blogland. I made a few extras so my big kiddoes wouldn't have to sneak nibbles from their little ones' bags. They do that you know. I've seen it happen at Halloween! I also made one for my sweet neighbor. That little woman has a serious sweet tooth!
Anyway, since I haven't done any other Valentine decor, I decided to pile these on my cake pedestal. Voila, instant Valentine fun!
I've been doing another craft the last couple of days, but will hold that one for another day. Thanks for stopping by and please come again soon.
